AcitvATE 4 Features

ActivATE v4 supports C# and VB.NET as well as legacy VBScript.  The .NET System namespace is available to the test program, giving the Test Program Set (TPS) developer a rich and versatile test environment.  TPS developers simply choose their test environment when creating a new test.  All three test programming languages may be executed simultaneously.

Once a test program language is selected, this will be the default until a different language is selected.

Test developers will be right at home with the familiar look-and feel of object oriented programming and object intellisense.

Note that VBScript test programs written in ActivATE v3 are fully compatible in ActivATE v4. However, VBScript test programs written in v4 are NOT backward compatible to ActivATE v3. ActivATE v4 will modify the VBScript test program sequence file to include XML tags that ActivATE v3 does not understand.
