Licensing
Evaluation Period
Users can download a full-featured developer version of
ActivATE from the ActivATE web site with a 90-day free trial period. After the
90-day trial period has ended, a developer license or runtime license may be
purchased from EADS that will allow the software to continue working with no

Pricing and Licensing
A developer license must be purchased for each developer.
For production machines that do not require test development, a runtime license
may be purchased that will allow test program execution. See the
comparison chart
for the feature sets included with each license version.
A single developer license grants the developer the
right to use all the features of the ActivATE software including:

Documentation, sample test programs and driver source (C#) code
for all EADS North America Test and Services product line instrument drivers.
A single runtime license grants a test machine the
right to execute any ActivATE test program.
All versions include:

Online support and product forums via the ActivATE web site and
email.
·
Free lifetime maintenance updates for the major version
purchased.
·
Free major version product upgrades for one year after the
purchase date.
ActivATE Test Software annual subscriptions are available in addition to
the initial purchase price. Annual subscriptions give licensed users product
updates and upgrades for one full year.

End-User License Agreement
ActivATE contains a full End-User License Agreement (EULA)
that is installed with the software. During the installation, users will have
the opportunity to accept or deny this agreement.
